Our New Untreated English Larch/Douglas Fir Log Lap Sleepers are perfect for applications where smooth edges and ease of construction with minimal fixings is required.

When placed on top of each other, the log lap/jigsaw style joints is what holds them together and keeps them stable with minimal fixings.

These softwood sleepers are passed through a fixed dimension moulder, so will be as accurate as they can be given the natural characteristics of the timber. 

Machined from English Larch/Douglas Fir, due to the natural tightness of the grain and the high resin content of the timber, it is not necessary for them to be pressure treated - these natural characteristics are what gives these sleepers there long lasting qualities and stability. This is an ideal timber to apply paint applications to, along with wood stains that will enhance the natural grain of the wood.
