Untreated Machine/Moulded Sleepers

Our Untreated Machine/Moulded Sleepers are machine finished with smooth curves to two edges and a planed finished to the other two edges, making them the perfect choice for children's play areas, raised beds and edging for pathways. These softwood sleepers can be stacked on top of each other horizontally or placed vertically, allowing this versatile sleeper to be used for a variety of landscaping applications.

Machined from English Larch/Douglas Fir, due to the natural tightness of the grain and the high resin content of the timber, it is not necessary for them to be pressure treated - these natural characteristics are what gives these sleepers there long lasting qualities and stability. This is an ideal timber to apply paint applications to, along with wood stains that will enhance the natural grain of the wood.

Passed through a fixed dimension moulder, these softwood sleepers will be as accurate as they can be given the natural characteristics of the timber.

Each sleeper is unique. Being a natural product, there may be colour variations, splits, knots and wanes. The sleeper dimensions may also vary slightly due to the rough sawn nature.
